This is a survey company I'm going to tell you about. If you would like an invitation to join, please fill out the form near the top right side of my blog & I will get one right out to you. Why do I ask you to do this? Well, some companies only accept new members from current member referrals. Other companies give a referral commission for referring new members, & I ask you to help me out in this since I give you all this free information & could use the income! Your email address will never be used for any other purpose.

Opionion Outpost is a research panel. It is a community of individuals who agree to share their views and opinions by answering survey questions from leading marketing research companies all over the world as well as many Fortune 500 companies. It is a fun way to learn about and influence the products and services you use every day. As a “Thank You” for your participation Opinion Outpost offers Opinion Points, which can be redeemed for cash.

You will always earn Opinion Points for each survey you complete. Opinion Points are redeemable for cash. 10 Opinion Points = $1.00. In addition, some surveys may offer other payments, such as a sweepstakes or other prizes. Each survey invitation will have details about the Opinion Points possible as well as other reward details.

Panel members must be at least 18 years of age and reside in the United States or Canada to participate and join our research panel at Opionion Outpost. Other age restrictions may apply for the Opinion Points program depending upon state and local regulations.

I have been paid several times by this survey company. Surveys are sent out regularly.

Review: To Be One Video

I recently had the pleasure of viewing a DVD called To Be One. It is about how three different couples sought God for their marriage partner. Although I do not have children anywhere near the age of getting married, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Having gone through the "dating game" myself, I want something different for my own children. I of course, want purity, and most of all, for them to seek GOD for their spouses! These three couples did exactly that & the video also shows how the parents were involved in the process of helping their children find the spouse God had for them. This enlightening video actually takes you along for the journey and shows how each couple came to know each other, and how the idea of marriage came about! The couples share their experiences--both good & bad--and you even get to see parts of their beautiful marriage ceremonies that also honored God. Each story is unique and will inspire you to pray for your children & the process of finding someone to truly "be one" with. You might even cry (I did)! I highly recommend it!

Alternatives to eBay

A lot of people are complaining about the changes to ebay. I personally still sell there & have a store, but maybe I will change that in the future. I also sell my artwork on etsy. For those of you who are unhappy with ebay, I just got this info about some alternatives to ebay. Please let me know if you've tried any of these or have any additional suggestions! Happy selling!

Amazon.com. Users report higher fees, less control over shipping rates, and there is no auction platform. You can take advantage of Amazon's advertising and traffic.

Etsy.com - Marketplace for handmade and craft items. Very economical to list. 20 cent fee for each item, listing has 4 month duration. Commission is 3.5% of the sale price (charged post-transactionally). Handmade, homemade items can be anything from jewerly, personalized items, even computers.

Bidville.com - Free to list. Final value fees 5% of sale price less than $25.

ePier.com - You pay nothing until your item sells.

Onlineauction.com - 5 styles of different auction formats. Free to list your item. No commission or final fee. One monthly membership fee to participate.

Overstockauctions.com - "charges insertion, upgrade (if applicable), reserve price, and closing fees. If an auction closes with a winning bid, the reserve price fee is refunded. Fees are based on a percentage of the selling price.

Overstock.com's fees are 33-50% cheaper than our major competitor's."

eCrater.com - Every member gets a free store. You can pay extra for ads place in premium locations.

iOffer - Free to list your items. Final value fee can be anywhere between 50 cents and $5, depending on the final sale price.

Making Money with Etsy

I am closing down a few of my blogs & bringing over some of the information here. I had made a blog about making money taking surveys & one for other ways to make money from home. Here is one of my old posts & I'll be posting a few more.

One way to make money from home, if you are creative, is to use etsy.com. It will only cost you $0.20 to list an item for 4 months, plus a final value fee if your item sells. I just opened up a shop for my artwork & I am so excited! I debated for a long time if I should try selling my paintings on ebay, but the fees are so much higher there, & I don't have an ebay store yet, something I think would be necessary for selling artwork on ebay. So I'm going to try etsy! That's my store over on the right if you want to check it out! If you make anything at all, you might want to think about selling it on Etsy. I enjoy just browsing all the things there. There are many item categories to choose from, too.
